We offer Trigger Point Pilates which is a Myofascial release technique session.
The easiest way for me to explain this is if you think of a chicken breast, a raw chicken breast, with the skin on.
If you peel the skin off, the film between the skin and the breast is the fascia. And as human beings, we have that fascia beneath our skin on top of our muscles.
The fascia can hold a lot of tension in your body, which can often cause pain. So the Trigger Point Pilates classes work with foam rollers and spiky balls to release the fascia and any tension you have in different areas of your body.
This can be slightly uncomfortable if you’re particularly tight, but you’re going to feel much better as you walk out at the end of the session
