Q. I’VE NEVER DONE PILATES BEFORE, AM I OK TO JOIN A REGULAR CLASS?

If you are fit and well you are welcome to join one of our classes, following an induction session.

However we recommend to get the most out of your classes you may wish to have a 1:1 session before your first class to get some of the basic understanding of the exercises.

We also offer low intensity classes and back to basics classes for a slower introduction to the technique along with our Pilates for Beginner workshops.
Q. CAN I JUST TURN UP TO A CLASS?

Q. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY CLASS?

All payments are taken via card (Stripe) or Direct Debit (GoCardless) through our TeamUp app. You select if you wish your payments to come out on 1st, 11th or 21st of the month when signing up.
Q. I CAN’T DOWNLOAD THE APP, HOW CAN I BOOK MY PLACE?

Q. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK MY PLACE IN A CLASS?

You may select to reserve a space in your favourite class to guarantee your place.

Alternatively you can use your booking credits to book up to 8 weeks in advance with an active membership or credit pack.

Workshops and Postnatal course can be booked as soon as the dates are showing on the website.
Q. THE CLASS I WANT TO BOOK INTO IS FULL, CAN I GO ON A WAITING LIST?

If a class you wish to attend is fully booked, we highly recommend joining the waiting list as spaces do become available. Just make sure you have set the notifications within the TeamUp app to ON so you know if you have been allocated a space from the waiting list.
Q. HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

Classes have a 15 minute gap between them to allow for the changeover of clients. We have a seating area and large toilets to change in if you arrive early,
Q. HOW LATE CAN I CANCEL MY CLASS IF I CAN’T ATTEND?

You may cancel your class any time up to 12 hours before the class start time to avoid being charged the cost of the class. After this time you will lose your class credit.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Comfortable clothes that you can move in. Clothing that you would wear to the gym is fine.

You don’t have to be head to toe in lycra however it is also preferred for you to avoid bulky or too loose fitting clothes as your alignment is closely monitored it needs to allow your posture to be seen during the movements.

Your body temperature will fluctuate during a class so it is recommended that you wear thin layers to enable you to easily adapt.

Socks are optional in class but shoes are not required.
Q. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

Please bring a small towel to cover the head cushions we provide.

You do not need to bring a mat as we provide these and all other equipment you will require during your class.

It is also recommended that you bring a bottle of water with you to class, and a warm layer of clothing for relaxation.
Q. DO I NEED TO WEAR TRAINERS?

For Pilates we wear socks or go bare foot, for SOULfusion, Circuits and Power Pilates trainers are recommended and for BarreConcept socks with grips are recommended or bare foot.
Q. ARE THERE ANY FORMS TO FILL IN?

Yes we do ask that you complete a health questionnaire before your first class this can be done on the TeamUp app directly within forms.

If you are pregnant or have had a baby in the last year please complete this form instead.
Q. WHERE CAN I PARK?

We have limited spaces directly outside of the studio during the day, however the Tesco click and collect carpark is just a 2 minute walk from us.

For evening classes you may park in any available space in the industrial estate (except the ones marked Gym).
