WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY ABOUT THE PILATES CORNER
"Thank you for a brilliant Pilates class today. Glad to see it was 100% men today and I had to work hard. The Dolphin was extremely hard and that was just the starting point. It was tough but I did everything Emma threw at me today and to the top levels. I might feel a couple of the exercises in the morning but Pilates has helped me so much.
I said to Emma that I'd stay on the lower levels all the class but when I got going I couldn't be asked. I had to go for the hardest level I could do, which so happened to be the top level. Thank you for working me so hard Emma"

"I started Pilates with Emma 4 months after having my daughter who I had via C-section. Having worked out regularly prior to pregnancy I was pretty keen to get some strength back postpartum particularly in my core muscles after the surgery. In my first class with Emma I was shocked how little I could do, but was amazed at how quickly my strength came back. To the point where my core became stronger than pre pregnancy in just a short amount of time. I put this down to Emma's hands on approach making sure you are positioned correctly throughout the entire class to achieve maximum effect. 14 months later I still thoroughly enjoy Emma's classes and continue to grow stronger and challenge myself. I would recommend her classes to anyone."

"I started Pilates with Emma following my second pregnancy. I had experienced separated tummy muscles during & after my second pregnancy and unfortunately developed an abdominal hernia, which I was advised would not require surgery if I could maintain good tummy muscle tone. I really needed to strengthen my core muscles and pelvic floor. Emma was brilliant at supporting me in the class in respect of my post-natal needs and 'injuries' and I definitely noticed improvements very quickly. If anyone said I'd be able to hold a 2 minute plank within a few months I would have thought they were joking but pilates has been amazing at helping to develop my strength and muscle tone.
After 8 months in the class I told Emma I was pregnant again. She was amazing at supporting me all the way through the pregnancy & really helped me tune into the needs of my changing body. I also believe that my tummy muscles were much stronger through the pregnancy and did not separate so seriously as before. I am now signed up for a post natal class and then hope to get back to a 'normal' Pilates routine and those killer 2 minute planks! Emma is a really attentive, friendly teacher, very accommodating of individual needs, gentle when she needs to be but equally good at encouraging everyone to work hard. It's great fun with a lovely group of people working all at different levels and I'd highly recommend it to anyone".

"Since joining Pilates with Emma I have noticed a huge improvement to my posture and I am sleeping much better. The time and location of the class I attend (Wednesday, 5:45) are so convenient with my busy life.
Emma is such a great teacher, who adapts for all abilities, and the whole class are so friendly. If I can't make it, I really miss it".

"I am 56 years old and after 20 years of regular yoga practice I switched to Pilates as a way for me to increase my core strength whilst maintaining flexibility.
20 years and many Pilates teachers later I have found my ideal teacher in Emma. Although her classes are very friendly and relaxed, they are still challenging.
Emma's teaching style makes it easy to understand and enables you to find the right level to work at to suit you.
I am currently attending 3 classes a week with Emma!"

"Thanks Emma, after just two sessions I am now able to sit up in bed and have a cup of tea for the first time in years".
