What happens in an induction?

An induction is a 90 minute session led by me and has up to six people in a session.

We run these every other Tuesday evening and one Saturday a month, and they give you a chance to come into the studio when it’s not busy and filled with other members.

You get a chance to see the studio for yourself, how the mats are laid out, where the toilets are, where the lockers are, and where all the equipment is kept, so that when you come into the studio for your first class, you’ve got a bit of an understanding of what to expect.

This we find takes a lot of the anxiety out of coming to an exercise class for the first time, and it gives me a chance to get to know you a little bit better before you come into the main group sessions.

In the induction, we look at any adaptations that may be required for your body and make sure that you’re happy with all of the exercises and what to look out for when you’re doing the exercises to make sure you’re not going to hurt yourself and to make sure you’re doing it properly.
