Everything you need to know about membership, bookings, payments and cancellations at The Pilates Corner.
Effective February 2026
Welcome to The Pilates Corner. We're thrilled to have you as part of our community. These Terms & Conditions ensure everything runs smoothly and fairly for everyone. By joining or continuing your membership, booking classes, or attending sessions, you agree to the following.
Choose either a 3-month or 12-month initial term. After this, memberships continue on a rolling 28-day basis.
Payments are taken every 4 weeks from your membership start date. Full-year upfront options are available - receive the 14th cycle free.
We'll contact you promptly if a payment fails. Repeated non-payment may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.
From 1st March 2026, members finishing their 12-month commitment will move onto the current standard rates of £69/month (12-month commitment) or £79/month (rolling membership), if they are not already on these rates.
Members still within their 12-month commitment will continue to pay their agreed rate until their 12 months are complete. The new pricing will apply from the end of their commitment.
From 1st March 2027, all membership prices will increase by 5% annually.
This ensures all members receive a full 12 months at their agreed rate before any price change takes effect.
To cancel a membership, members must give notice at least one full membership cycle (payment period) in advance.
If notice is given midway through a payment cycle, one final full membership payment will be taken on the usual billing date, and the member may continue attending classes until the end of that cycle (28 days from that payment).
No pro-rata payments will be offered, and cancellations cannot be backdated.
If you are still within your 12-month commitment, cancellation can only take effect from the end of that commitment - unless you choose to exit early by paying 50% of the remaining membership fees.
Exceptions: At our discretion for serious injury, pregnancy, or relocation.
One pause allowed every 12 months with 28 days' notice. The first 28 days are free; further time is charged at £15/month.
Medical, pregnancy, or injury-related pauses are permitted. Pause time extends the commitment period.
Your membership place is guaranteed during a pause, but recurring bookings may not be held.
Classes can be booked up to 8 weeks in advance.
| Class Type | Cancellation Required |
|---|---|
| Group classes | Cancel 12+ hours before to retain credit |
| Private / clinic sessions | Cancel 24+ hours before to retain credit |

Waitlists: If you are auto-promoted from a waitlist and are unable to attend, please notify us so we can reclaim the credit for you.
Unused credits roll over for 14 days at the end of each 28-day cycle. After this, they expire.
If a session is cancelled by us, we will reschedule or issue a studio credit. No refunds will be given in these circumstances.
No refunds are given for missed classes or unused credits.
| Notice Given | Refund |
|---|---|
| 48+ hours before | Full credit refund or transfer |
| 24–48 hours before | 50% refund as studio credit |
| Less than 24 hours | No refund |
Credit transfers are discretionary and not standard policy.
All clients must complete a health questionnaire before attending their first session. It is your responsibility to inform instructors of any changes to your medical condition before classes.
We expect respectful behaviour towards instructors and other members at all times. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in suspension or termination of membership.
We may update these Terms & Conditions with reasonable notice. Updated Terms will be made available by email and at the studio.
Get in touch and we'll be happy to clarify anything.
