The Pilates Corner was founded by Emma, a Level 4 qualified Pilates instructor with an Assessor designation and over 13 years of teaching experience. Emma built TPC because she believed there was a better way to deliver Pilates - smaller, more personal, with genuine care for every member's progress.

Every instructor at TPC shares the same values: attentive, supportive, judgement-free teaching where every exercise is adapted to the person in front of them.

None at all. All our studio classes are mixed level and every exercise is layered so complete beginners and experienced members work in the same session. The one requirement is our 90-minute induction, which gives you the foundations you need to join any class confidently.
We never have more than 12 people in any Mat Pilates or Zoom class. For Barre, Small Equipment, and Trigger Point Pilates the maximum is 10. Small classes are a deliberate choice - it means your instructor can watch your form, correct your technique, and adapt exercises for your body.
Pilates is one of the best forms of exercise for people managing back pain and injuries - many of our members joined specifically for this reason. Our instructors are trained to adapt exercises to your needs. If in doubt, have a chat with us first and we'll talk it through.
