I'm scared to start something new

That fear is completely normal, and I'd guess most of our members felt it before their first visit. The average age here is over 50, lots of people hadn't exercised in years, and almost everyone walked in nervous. Then, in their own words, they wondered what they'd been so worried about.

Part of the fear is not knowing what to expect, so let me remove that. You'll come to a 90-minute induction with a maximum of 6 people, all new, all equally nervous. There's no workout gear required beyond comfortable clothes, no fitness test, no moment where you're singled out. We talk, we move gently, we teach you the basics, and you can ask absolutely anything. By the end you'll know the instructor, the room, and the people beside you.

After that, classes are small, maximum 12, mixed ability, and friendly in a way that's hard to fake. Members genuinely describe it as feeling like a family.

If even the induction feels like a big first step, start smaller. Book a free chat with us, come and see the studio, or try a class on Zoom from home first. There's no wrong way to begin, and no pressure to begin before you're ready.

The fear is the hardest part. It gets easier from the moment you walk in.
