A maximum of 12 in most classes, and that's a firm cap, not a target we occasionally ignore. Our small equipment classes are capped even lower, at 10 people, and inductions are limited to just 6.

Why so strict? Because small classes are the whole point. When there are only 12 mats in the room, your instructor can actually see everyone. They'll notice if your shoulder is creeping up by your ear, if you're holding your breath, or if an exercise isn't right for your body that day, and they'll fix it there and then. In a class of 25 or 30, that's impossible. You're just a pair of legs in the back row.

Small classes also mean we can adapt on the fly. If half the room has a grumpy lower back that week, the class changes. You can't do that with a crowd.

And there's a quieter benefit nobody expects: community. When you see the same small group of faces each week, you get to know people. Classes feel friendly rather than anonymous, and for nervous beginners that makes all the difference.

It's also worth knowing that classes do fill up, so we always recommend booking in advance through the app to bag your spot.
