Quite a few, and they're some of the most popular sessions on our timetable.

Our lower level classes are slower, gentler and more deliberate. There's more time to get set up in each position, more explanation of what you should be feeling and why, and exercises that focus on the foundations, breathing, posture, core connection, joint mobility and balance. Nothing is rushed, and nobody is expected to keep up with anyone else.

These classes suit all sorts of people. Complete beginners who've never set foot on a mat. People returning to exercise after years away. Anyone managing arthritis, osteoporosis, back pain or recovering from surgery or injury. And honestly, plenty of our experienced members book them too, because a slower class done well is surprisingly hard work.

Even outside these dedicated sessions, every class we teach is layered. Your instructor always shows the foundation version of each exercise first, so in any class you can simply stay at that level for the whole session. You will never be the only one taking the easier option, promise.

If you're not sure which class to start with, come to your induction and we'll point you in the right direction. The aim is a class that leaves you feeling better, not broken.
