Do you do any specialist classes?
In this article
Yes, we do, and these sessions are some of our favourites because they make Pilates genuinely accessible to people who might otherwise think it's not for them.
Our Chair Pilates classes are exactly what they sound like, Pilates taught using a chair for support, with little or no getting down to the floor. They're brilliant for older adults, anyone with balance concerns, and people managing conditions like arthritis or osteoporosis who still want to move well and get stronger. Don't be fooled into thinking it's the easy option though. A well-taught chair class is a proper workout.
We also run a dedicated six-week postnatal course, designed specifically for new mums returning to exercise safely. It's a structured course rather than a drop-in class, with each week building on the last, focusing on rebuilding core and pelvic floor strength, posture, and confidence in your body after birth.
Beyond the timetable, Emma and the team have qualifications in pre and postnatal exercise and orthopaedic conditions, so specialist knowledge runs through everything we teach, not just the sessions with specialist names.
If you're not sure whether a specialist session is right for you, or you have a specific condition you'd like to chat through, book a free chat with us. We'll always give you an honest answer.
